Il film ha avuto un ottimo riscontro di pubblico già dalla prima proiezione pubblica entusiasmando il pubblico. Il film è poi stato selezionato al film festival di Hong Kong, Inghilterra e Roma ottenendo pure una nomination per il miglior attore protagonista, data all'attore Giovanni Menta.
